You on stable or PTE? You should also try creating a match. A lot of people sit around waiting for someone to start a lobby.
I spent the evening showing a friend this against the AI. It was painful to watch him fumble with the gargantuan multitasking required, but we got a couple of planet smashes in and he went home happy
I am playing on PTE, I opened up a lobby and closed it after 10 minutes. There was another lobby open with 1/6 players, yet nobody joined besides me.
Aye, I thought there are some PAX streams on and everybody's like 'why would I be playing right now, there's so much hype in the wild', but there's nothing that'd suggest the reason behind PTE being pretty dry. Here's to hope it's due to people having lives and all that.
Can someone explain something to me? A month ago, me and my friends bought the game. That was about the time the last patch went live. Before the patch, we played for a couple of days, it was a Fri/Sat, if I remember correctly, and the lobby was FLOODED with games. Like several dozen of them all the time, and creating a 4v4 game and filling it up took seconds, most of the time. After the patch, it was like the silence of the lambs, and it has been so ever since. Barely half a dozen games being made at any given time, and oftentimes only one or two. Did that patch kill the "scene" or something? I can't find any explanation for this.
I think that patch is what introduced the dox as a proverbial "mega unit", which got some people bored with the balance of the game. Could be wrong.
