Hello PA Fans, I am new on the forum and tried to read the forum little bit and found many things out, but I would still ask some other things, I want try to follow the forum more, I am a big fan of TA and so of PA too. 1. I read there will be no real orbital fight, but well if there will be orbital units, because there is a skretch goal of "enhanced orbital units" (not sure what kind of units are meant), will be there units like in the past in TA, where special air units could dive under water and then fly. So e.g. a unit that fly and then into space or even from water into space? I also heard the biggest problem of having a space fight, is the different 'worlds' well I understand that, but I hope there will be no 'invisible' wall. e.g. that you are able to shot from one planet to another, if they are close enough. Another example that your air units are able at least to get onto the next planet without big complex constructions. 2. After I saw the new Goal skretch, I remembered that TA used some metal maps too and I got an idea. In a old space browsergame (ogame) was it possible that after a big fight of many spaceships. The destroyed units (, which were normally just trash on the orbit ) created a new moon and well TA used destroyed units too as ressource or reactivate them. So I thought it would fit the PA world, when a big army gets destroyed in the space it creates a new moon or astroid or even a metal planet. What do you think of that? 3. What happens when you crash a planet with an astroid, will it be destroyed or will it get to an lava planet? 4. Which company does make the miniatures? I am a figure collector from japanese game and anime merchandise and wanted to know, which company you partnered. yours Yourtime
Re: Some Questions about Orbital possibilites and Pledges Depending on the size of the planet and the asteroid, the planet might be partially or completely destroyed. No word on whether, eg. a rock terrain would turn into lava terrain.
Re: Some Questions about Orbital possibilites and Pledges Given they said that kickstarter fans know and love the miniature company, I would guess it is Reaper.
Re: Some Questions about Orbital possibilites and Pledges thanks for the respond, I see okay well I was just curious what happens, but that sounds reasonable. Oh thanks, thats interesting! I am really looking forward to it. So the idea of creating a small moon with metal as ressource or a astroid to attack the planet of trash from orbital units which fly around the planets or after a big fight is not so good? To much for the simplicity of PA? I thought it would fit quite good in that planet-attacking game.
Re: Some Questions about Orbital possibilites and Pledges Well I dont give up so easily, I cant believe no one think its interesting or want that, I would like at least hear what a developer think about that. I would understand it, if they say its taking too much ressource or time to implement or to make it work. I read that real big orbital battles, maybe not really implemented or rather maybe even nothing. I hope that it is maybe possible using air units for the space too, to be able to make battles between 2 planets. So I tried a little illustration to give a better impression, what I mean (please dont bother my super-duper drawing skills lol) The idea behind it is, that because of a big battle or of many little combats, much trash forms together from the unusable or deactivated space units a new little metal planet or a bigger astroid with metal ressources. That astroid could be used to attack planets again. Normally trash in space would be possible to recycle or would get into the orbit of planets and fly into the planets, but I even dont know, if this is planned.
