I have a few suggestions about gamelay. 1) Why not make the option to choose the orbital units through space map? When the planet is a lot of units, among them very difficult to find the orbital units. So it would be much easier to select and send satellites through space map. just look at the scheme that I attached). 2) What about a transport? He can only care 1 unit, even if it lvl.1 worker. Сan you make that transport could carry only 1 commander\big unit or atleast 2 workers. Or maybe you add a bigger transport which is more expensive? Is it possible to add simple transport, who can't fly through space, but can carry a small squad through impassable terrain. And it build on Air factory. 3) I want to see in game a building like GARBAGE COLLECTOR. Thit structure collect the remains of the destroyed units and buildings and processes in the metal. In the absorptionit using the energy. Its like The Recycler from DLC to Supreme commander 2. 4) Scouts cars(I forgot their name absolutely useless, they not so fast, and they can't even kill lvl.1 worker, i send 12 cars to kill 1 worker, but they did to him less half HP before he build 1 tower, that kill all my cars -__-. I think they must be a little stronger, because they good not only for scoutin, but also doing some sabotage.
Unit balance in itself is still almost nonexitant. Scout cars should and hopefully will be able to do quite a lot of damage, while being fast and fragile. Right now they are just somewhat fast, while doing almost no damage and dying from a gust of wind. In addition to that, the HP pools in general are very low, DPS is in the same range as health so units usually die extremely quickly. I'd love to see units get around 10 times more health, maybe more. For example, Slammer has a DPS/cost of 0.75. For comparison, the SC2 Thor has 0.12 and the WC3 Grunt has 0.017.
Well, the scout car is just there.. to scout. If you want effective raiders then build Dox! Also, I kinda like that units die so fast since you can also produce them very fast. The short life of units in combat gives the game this huge material battle feeling. You pump out lots and lots of units but they die quickly. This game is more about huge swarms of well-combined forces than individual units.
Fabricators can reclaim wrecks, so we don't need the trash collector. Transports will be in the game – uber is working on them, but apparently they're difficult to code.
But they not collect it automaticaly and have small range. Trash collector can't move, but have a large area and it work automaticaly. And no need to use fabricators.
Trash collectors do seem kind of redundant, but I saying that, I still do like the idea of such a unit/building.
Building i think) Build 3 of them around a base, and every destroyed unit\building became money(metal) for you!!
I don't know if it's in the game yet, but it will be in the game. Idle fabricators will automatically reclaim wrecks and you can set them to patrol and they'll reclaim wrecks.
