    Hi all,

Today I updated my version of PA on steam and the installer seperately. Whenever I start the game through one of the two options, the main menu does not give my an option to play. I only have access to 'system designer'. Even 'settings' and 'quit' do not work.

I tried going into this folder "E:\Program Files (x86)\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation Launcher\Planetary Annihilation\stable\bin_x64" and start 'PA.exe' from there with the same problems... When I use that last option, the game does not ask for account login, which does happen when using the launcher.

I hope someone can help me out.

edit0: I also reinstalled the launcher and the game.

    Kind regards,

    I see you're using mods.
I remember I had a similar issue with unit database / unit blueprint framework not tool long ago.
Do you happen to have such mod enabled ? If yer, is it up to date (I think it was updated lately to fix the issue) ?

Maybe that is it. I remember I installed a mod manager a few months ago, but I totally forgot about it. I just reinstalled PA Mod Manager and updated the mods that needed to be updated. The problem still persists. I'll try disabling all of them first.

edit0: after disabling all the mods the menu looks normal again. Thanks for reminding me of it!

Now I have the issue that the game is stuck on this screen when I do singleplayer. Is there an internet connection needed for single player? PAStuck.PNG

Not anymore but I think you have to set it manually.

    Options>Server.

Thank you for your reply, but what about the screen I am stuck with? I do not have a stable internet connection here, so I put the server options to ON, but the single player still shows the screen in my previous post.

edit0: It might be due to low memory, because I have only 6GB installed. It really wont play with less than 8GB?
edit1: I noticed an incredible memory drain and I closed the program that caused it. I seems to be running fine now! :)
