What's with 8? Juice change is pretty damn stupid. If you are going to remove the one way to break a defense, you need to make defense harder. I only have 10 seconds to destroy and this is an expensive skill. Defense is absurdly easy with computer controlled turrets that are now way more difficult to kill. And now you made it easier to do so by removing the firepower of non-gunners. Who are awful at attacking. Yeah. Smart. Juice needed to be strong because turrets had absurd health for anything not gunner to try and kill. Now you are required to have a gunner on your team. Previously, almost any composition could work outside really ridiculous all sniper or all support nonsense. Now you effectively have less choice in what is really viable. You used to be able to play pretty aggressive in the game and get some decent rewards for doing so, but that's pretty much gone now that juice is so weak. All in all the fun parts of the game just got shredded while also including some changes that really suck even more fun out of the game. No OT actually makes games go to the 15 minute limit more often now because of how easy it is to turtle after 4 damage to the enemy money ball. Previously you had a huge incentive to kill them before overtime because it was a huge gamble to try and pull off a win with both cores down. This lead to people actually trying aggressively to tap a core when it was exposed instead of the current lame it out on defense after 4 damage with 37 level 3 rockit turrets. Unfortunately the game has been dying for a long time. I wish it stuck around longer because it does have some interesting ideas for a game. Throwing in some pretty poorly thought out balance changes doesn't help in the least.
Most of the classes can solo a turret by themselves if they have juice and are able to attack without much distraction (only exception being the sniper, although even he can solo a lvl2 rock-it with a lvl3 flak and uzi). Juice is extremely easy to get assuming you're not completely pinned down in your base the whole game (which is a balancing problem). I've been able to get juice in 30 seconds as an assault, which is actually enough to wreck the two lvl2 rock-its at the start of a match. I've found that teams who have had their ball slapped a bit are more aggressive than normal to try and wrestle back an advantage. You still have a huge advantage to get the ball, because now it means an instant win if overtime is up. I usually don't find people playing defensive anyway after a nice ball-slapping session because that just loses your advantage. I know I don't at least. I'm coming to think that this game just doesn't work with random pub players being lumped together. About 90% of the games I've played, one team will have those retarded 1-3 players who front-grapple tanks as sin, never overheal team-mates as support or attack turrets with the mini-gin as gunner...and that is exactly that type of thing that loses games and is difficult for a star-system to measure. So it's not surprising that people just stop playing after their 5th game where they just get rolled on due to how teams have been chosen, without any real way to fight back.
