I don't understand. Damage? Sure. But the amount of damage it deals is so inconsistent, and minimal, that you never actually know if you're dying, or gunna live. Like, put 'em on the brink, or something. Or even increase the damage so you KNOW. But cm'on.

The crowd loves it. Still wish ShaveIce put it out. What happened at the end of that discussion?

If your saying increase fires damage over time a little. I'd agree with that

Especially since now our railgun got nerfed :( I feel like the tank gets wrecked pretty bad when he doesnt have gold ROF, giving him a buff to his jet gun might make him useful early game. Without gold ROF I have to rely on charge 3 to do all my dirty work, which in the end puts me at a disadvantage over most scenarios if it misses. [again early game] I dont think the gun should do more damage, but fires damage over time is so meager I dont think it could hurt to have it do a little more.

The main issue is it stops them from regenerating but without gold rof, your chances of finishing them off are so much worse.

If I could be on fire and say "Yep, I'm gunna die" instead of "Okay, I'm on fire. What's gunna happen? OH COME ON!!!" Then I would overjoyed.

I lol'd  Like I said I expect the mindset of the player to be
    1. Crap I am on fire, better get away.
    2. Glad I got away
    3. Crap I got railgunned/product bombed to death

But I honestly almost never use the jetgun other than for death blossom or turret killing. I think if it did a bit more damage it would be a better tool versus just looking like ghost rider and jumping around for a few seconds.

Still the damage has got to be something so insignificant half the time you really never know. I approve all tank love.

not the damage, the railgun wont shoot around corners well anymore, and it cant aim downwards off a ledge [much like the mortar launcher] without hitting the edge of the ground.

This was their fix for shooting through the walls with the railgun.

Well, the thing is, I NEVER know. Ever. It just doesn't seem consistent.

Fire kills because of. . .well, the same way it kills other people in real life, y'know?

I can't really explain it better than that, actually. Well to put it more simple for you. FIRE BURNS PEOPLE.

You're using logic that applies to real life in a game where a Coliseums are used to hold death matches by genetically modified clones in the future.

    Yeah......

So you're saying fire differentiates from an actual bullet to the body?

I'm saying that's not a good way to go about discussing the mechanics of a game.

The fire damage IS consistent , the amount of hp you have after escaping a tank is the variable.

I'm at a point where i can judge if I'm gonna die or not for sure now.

You want fire to do more damage? I think it's annoying as balls the way it is.

I can see one of two things that would change if anyone were to buy it.

    1. More damage. Then I know.
    2. Make fire NOT kill. Take 'em down to 1 hitpoint. But, don't kill.

The fire damage is always consistent, like Bolt I can usually tell if I'm going to live or die.

I really don't think fire should kill. It's hard enough getting away from a Tank when you're an Assassin, it just ticks me off when the stupid fire is what gets them the kill after I took the effort to get away from them.
