So who's been Rage Kicked yet?

I go onto a server, headshot a Tank for my first kill, and the next thing you know, a votekick is in the process. Believe it or not, the yes's just kept building up until it was like a 'jump on da bandwagon of awseomeness' effect. And yes, I got kicked.

( Granted, I DO constantly have 300+ ping :lol: )

Now that I can bear with, but it's not just me I've seen go under this sort of judgement. Considering this update has only been out for only two days so far, the number of rage and troll kicks is worrying.

If a guy's using a particularly irritating class and is getting a lovely KDR, there'll often be some pissed off bloke who thinks it would be a good idea to initiate a votekick against the player for whatever reason. And then it's obviously hilarious to just vote yes because it's so trolololol ( note: this is a very misled assumption made for effect ). I've seen this happen 3 times now, excluding my case.

Perhaps people are just having fun trying out MNC's new action menu. I don't know. :|

A vote was in progress several times today but nobody ever got kicked.

Out of fun we kicked Myst twice but I haven't seen anybody actually getting kicked.

If I would try to get kicked it would happen though. Ain't hard: Pick assault, juice-chain, kicked.

Yeah, kicks do have their humour to it when you actually know the people you're playing with. :lol:

Otherwise it makes you feel like you're a hunted witch at the mercy of the mob. Very glum feeling. You might escape the kick thanks to the wonderful concept of in-game democracy, but you know somewhere in the server someone really doesn't like you ( tip: they're usually the ones who make a maximum effort of taunting after killing you specifically. ). :?

Not to be offensive to you, but really? Playing Sniper with 300 ping is just.. cruel.

Happened to me, well nearly. I was a support and had a 20-0 kill rate and had 6 votes out of 7. No one said why and I just talked trash untill I got dc'd. I got a chuckle out of it. I feel proud to get raged kicked, because you know you are doing your damn job a bit too well.

Been ragebanned because I grappled an admin twice on the Braingibs server. He was playing Assassin and only had 6 kills with the sword/dagger.

No offence taken at all! And yeah, really. I stay in South Africa, so there's pretty much only one single server here that I ever get below 100 on. That particular server also happens to be almost always empty, and when it's actually populated, the majority of the players have over 200-300+ ping, save for the guys who stay where I am, naturally. :lol:

It's surprisingly smooth from my side, though I'm not sure about other people on the server when they have to interact with me. I remember trying to snipe another laggy sniper. Not fun. :?

Does getting rage banned from a server count?

I've been rage kicked simply for getting a Tank kill with the Assassin class. The nub apparently thought Tanks are immune to being killed by Assassins.

I played a few matches with ARSON1ST yesterday with him on my team on on the other. I believe I killed him at least once. Anyway, I saw that someone tried to kick him for being an awesome assault. At the end of it the vote ended with 1 person.

I've been ragekicked six times, all before it was convenient to do so.

I haven't been ragekicked myself. I'm onle of those lame assassins that focuses on bots, so people don't notice me unless I'm juiced in their base. Or a support that heals his teammates and sets up in good spots then goes around healing nearby, falling back occasionally to heal turrets and spam fodder. I still hate votekick with a passion though. I've never, not once, seen it used well. In any game.

Votes need to be a server option. When I start up my server I want them disabled.

I'm getting ragebanned more than I care for.... There's so few servers I ping ok on as it is.

I find the votekicks don't ever work out, though. Even if the entire other team is screaming H4XOMG, no one on my team wants to throw their vote in for some reason. Strange, no? :lol:

the second game always get enough votes, simply because on both sides people feel/felt it. Luckily never got votekicked myself, but a few times somebody started it and it died with only one person voting for it.

I get [1/12]'ed a lot due to ragers, but no one else ever votes yes.

An enemy Support did this to me tonight after I killed him three times In a row. When he did kill me after, I vote kicked him for the giggles and irony and It went through because his team was tired of the whining.

Was good day to be Italian man.

Of course it was the 5th kick attempt that match and probably the 17th on that server with a hackusation later on

I felt kind of bad to be honest because I did it out of irony, didn't realise his team was annoyed by him, It was quite funny though.
