Am I dreaming? Has the end of 32 bit only games finally come? I honestly thought it'd wouldn't be ending even after consoles got 64 bit x86 CPU's, since a lot of PC devs always somehow make sure to not do the right thing. Please tell me this game won't be DX9 only (on Windows). Please, make my day
We were trying for 42 bit, but the math was hard. (Yes, we built the game with 64-bit in mind, we had to go back and fix a few issues to support 32bit)
Why make a 32 bit version? Is it for compatibility reasons? Will doing so unnecessarily divert resources and manpower from the 64 bit version?
If we're going to be cranky about that, Win64 has been subsidizing all other platforms, but it is generally(me too even) considered a good thing to be inclusive. There is enough of a Win32 install base that I think it makes sense.
hey at least it's still an integer number. let's not get rational about it, that would be so irrational. I demand Pi Bit support...
