How do I get wood? But really... I find a game that's, for example, 4/4 + 0/2 spectators. Try and join.. Failed, back to menu. Rinse and repeat x6, then I find a lobby that let's me join. Generating planets for far longer than when you actually play a game. Then when they generate, no players on them. Chronocam says game is still going, but no players at all. This has happened every time I've tried spectator mode. Halp?
I guess you can't join games that have all slots busy even if spectators slots available. It's also looks like games still display servers that already started.
How do I join a game that has open spec slots and is not full? Every time I try I just get thrown into a player slot, and I seem to be missing the spec slots.
Just join any game that isn't started yet and ask host to add spectator slot for you. I'm do that this way and it's working fairly well and other players fine about spectators in game.
