Most people live to 80, so going to school to help you in the long term is really stupid.

Aw, man. I was really hoping it was gonna be some drunk chick flashing her boobs.

Oh well, guess I'll just pretend.

The majority of people that go to school only do it for a good job. What's the point of doing it at 75 when you're probably retired and are going to die soon?

I'd like to be able to use punctuation by the time I reach 75, unlike some forum members here.

I also doubt Sesame Street is all that enjoyable at 75

Not everybody in the world is a pretentious motivated psuedo intellectual. The things we learn in school have no real life application unless it's for a job (that the majority of teens have not even figured out what they want to do after school, much less their education), so it's not very interesting.

Some people think learning new stuff is fun and enriching. Not all education is boring.

I'm too tired to find a facepalm graphic to insert here.

    Just so, so sad.

I speak with great amounts of experience when I say that it is sad how many teenagers think they have any idea about what is important to learn and what skills they will need.

I don't think you would understand. The American school system is terrible, they give you these credits to physically be in class, not mentally be there in high school. The classes don't push people enough that the lazy smart people don't care, and hardly anyone is motivated to do anything. You should look at the way France handles their schools. That's the way it should be done.

There's a reason why America is ranked so low. The difference between the motivated, the smart, and the normal people makes a huge imbalance in public schools.

I could rant on this forever but the main point is that the only reason anyone should care about school is for a job. Nobody gives a crap about how good you do or how you're such an "intellectual scholar". All what matters is if you're in a good position. Some people need to learn modesty.

Exactly. Job Skills > English. What is the market for a writer anyways? Exactly.

Damn I say exactly a lot.

    1. How is this "gold" again?

    2. If you find it funny and think others will too, post it here.

    3. Here ya go, Jen (and everyone else).
