Really enjoying the sniper class atm, just wondering what sensitivity you guys roll with? I'm trying to get used to 7 but it feels quite twitchy and I tend to miss quite a bit.
You shouldn't "try to get used to" a sensitivity. A higher sensitivity doesn't make a player better, it's just what each individual feels comfortable at. When you try sensitivities, if you don't like it within the first few games it's probably not the right sensitivity for you. People seem to get this mindset that a lower sensitivity makes you less skilled or whatever, but most of the best players in the world in FPS games range from a 2-5 (on a scale of 10) sensitivity.
I loaded the game up and went 'woah this is too fast' Turned it down to 2 and got comfortable. To go up to 10 would make me sick for being so dizzy.
Thats good advise mate, I had got a bit sucked into the 'higher is better' mindset I'll probably take it down to 3 or 4 as I much prefer a lower sensitivity if I'm sniping.
When I snipe, I stick at the default or at 2 or something. I can't go much faster, it makes me sick to watch.
I must say that after reading this, I decreased my sensitivity from a 7 to a 5, then had one of my best crossfire matches...coincidence? Maybe, but I will be sticking to the 5 sensitivity....aiming seemed easier.
I was also sucked into this mindset. For something like call of duty where the first shot counts wherever it hits, it may be more the case. I work with the default now and do well. I would recommend raising it once your very comfortable with the one your on, so u can eventually react faster to get the same result.
i use the default, havnt changed it yet, but it works for me.. keep in mind. its not what your shooting at, its the shooter. regardless if your sensitivity is "comfortable" its irrelevant unless you can hit your target, cuz it sux when you have someones face in your scope, they move to the side slightly you move accordingly , overaim and he runs off. thats a kill . or no kill. to be exact.
4 is best for Sniping. Don't let anyone tell you to use 2, those are people who solely QUICKSCOPE. Which is lame.
Public static void main(String args[]){ Bkitko73 bk73 = new bkitko73; } Public static void MLG(String x){ String MLG = x; System.out.println(MLG + "is the best mnc player"); } Public static bkitko73 extends MLG(String x){ super(x); x=bkitko73; System.out.println("HAIL " + x + "!!!!!!!!"); } :here start %0|%0 goto here

I run 6 on the XBox that uses component cables on a smaller non-HD display, and 2 on the one that uses HDMI on a larger HD display. It is probably purely subjective, but the XBox or the HDMI moves the reticle faster for some reason - it could also be because it is a bigger TV with HD and it just seems that way to me.
Theoretically speaking, if you were just as comfortable on 10 that I was on 2, 10 would be better. Its faster, therefore you can get the curser to the spot you're aiming for that much quicker than your opponent. That's only if you were just as skilled, however, and 10 is a LOT harder to be good at than 2.
