Sniper's Flak in front of the spawn door

So today I found out something interesting as I was my spawn and died. Apparently the Sniper's Flak can deal damage to any player within its radius, even if they are still inside their spawn. It's not a major bug but still annoying regardless.

Iv seen people artillery into the spawn before

That sounds like a recipe for some pretty annoying griefing if word gets out.

Was someone doing that intentionally, or did it seem more like someone who was new at sniper was just pushing his buttons in the spawn (like a support who dumps his firebase in the spawn and just leaves it there)?

edit: or do you mean an enemy sniper had tossed his flak up by your spawn and it hit you? (because yeah I could also see that getting annoying)

Not quite the same, but I've been product grenaded inside my spawn. I wasn't sure if it was a glitch or it's supposed to go off in there.

The P grenade explodes right on the door. Maybe the adds will go through it?

I don't think it was intentional. I had to answer a call so I put my Pro just inside the spawn and walked away for a few seconds. A Support on my team had a Firebase just outside the spawn on the upper ring so I'm guessing that the Flak was intended to take that out, instead it killed me inside the spawn. I was just surprised to see that I died in the spawn.

I figured this out a while ago. I was running around the enemy base and someone runs back into the spawn to heal. I toss a flak at them thinking they might step back out to take another shot at me, and to my surprise I get a kill with them still inside. I never did it again.
