Sniper ice trap glitch - can't throw ice traps (video)

Decided to play sniper after giving it a long break. Was greeting by my grayed-out ice trap button (with full meter) for the entire game.

Made it extremely difficult to push up, especially against a team that had 3 assaults.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? I've had it occur quite a few times, and there's nothing you can do to fix it. Upgrading the skill does not work.

Yeah I've had this happen to me too a couple of times.

The best way to fix it is to just kill yourself.

. . .in the game, I mean.

I've had it happen at the start of a game or after a respawn, but dying usually fixes it.

Ah. Sucks that you have to die to fix it.

Maybe a glitch or an issue should go in that forum?
