Sniper grapples "retuned" this morning

    I assume retuned means decreased?

    If so, then good. Great job jumping on that Uber!

    Now decrease juice gain rate for both Support and Sniper, please.

    clarification on the Death Blossom. The max damage with a full clip is higher now.

    Not, not buffed more than then what was intended for the Title Update. Our Live Update files were stomping on certain values and this was to fix it. The reason for the buff in the first place is because the death blossom's damage decreases with the amount of ammo in a clip.

    On the morning of the update a friend noted that the jet gun spin was actually doing less damage than it was doing the day before. I assume they realized the values weren't right and fixed them in a server side fix.

    Honestly the Sniper grapple didn't really bug me beyond the range they can actually use it. Heck I don't even mind their explosive bullets.

    If there is one thing that will eventually make me quit this game though it's those god awful mostly invisible, constantly spawning full stop freeze traps. They should just slow you down more and more per level. Not a full stop.

    Looks like they reduced the damage it does by around 25%. End result? Less grapple kills, more ring outs.

    Got a chance to test this this morning in action, and it definitely is in line with the gunner's skill grapple now. Level three is pretty strong still but not a guaranteed death for the recipient.

    Not at all. Of course now the grapple only works as a finisher or when I have a good ring out angle. Damn you Uber, for taking away my insta-kill button and forcing me to use it strategically. :lol:

    But seriously, at least the assassins knew what was being changed before it happened. How about a heads up next time?

    Just kidding. I'm glad that people have one less thing to complain about in regards to the Snipah. I'd rather have $75 for a Ring Out than $50 for a Grapple Kill.
