If a gunner or jackbot is standing at the top of a ramp, for example at the sides of Lazerazor, their slam will still usually hit people that jump. I'm 95% sure it isn't a lag issue.

    Is this intended, or no?

It has nothing to do whether you are jumping or not. Both slams do a cylinder of damage, if you're in the cylinder you get affected, if you're not you don't. Jumping usually puts you above the cylinder but when you're on a ramp, you might be jumping into it.

    Ok, thanks

I could tell that's how it was working, just wanted to be sure that's how it was meant to work, rather than following the floor

I've noticed on flat surfaces lag can really factor into it too. It is really random if you jump over a slam on laggy hosts (which is about half of them.)

I was going to say the same thing. I've been slammed by the jackbot even when I'm sure that I timed the jump right, always in laggier games.

This happens alot to me, i jump perfectly in time for a Jackbot slam and still get knocked back or RingOut.
Figured bots wouldn't be so affected by the lag, perhaps it's possible to make the slams (atleast) clientside?
