Why do so many people have such a big problem with XENONOX? I've talked to him and he's a nice guy so why so much hate?

Because he pretends to not care about his KDR when he does.

It's more all of the above for most people I'd say.

People are born to hate, not appreciate.

    Amen.

The Amen thing is mad annoying. Kckzi once said, "I don't think I would have a problem with xeno if he didn't do the amen thing."

That's because by uttering the end of a prayer or hymn, it instigate annoyance like you've stated yourself, which attract targets for trolling; at least on GameFAQs when I was still interested in such childlish entertainment.

Nowadays? People are now unconsciously connecting that word with me throughout the Internet, which is all fun and giggles for me. Many more are unsure what to make out of it, but that's the intent of it anyway.

But ultimately, it leaves an amplifying impact at the end of a post, to signify the poster have just nailed the other person in the face with mind-blowing words, and thus, the poster has won.

    Amen.

^^ this is a person that you people claim is garbage, an ego maniac, a pub star, a non-influential. This is a person that I call a role model, a true gamer, a teacher, a helper, a highly inflential name in MNC and a good friend to me. This community considers both of us useless players, even though we have been here longer than 80% of you new self-proclaimed veterans.

Turntables, its apparent that these people have a different opinion about us when it comes to this game, so I think sharing my point of view about the matter would help you, but myself as well haha.

We all know kittens are cute, even though I'm allergic to cats. But they're cute. And hyper active. Why? Brain development, or more specifically, the frontal lobe, which governs emotions, parts of speech, movement (motor cortex), and among other things. The kitten will be jumping and hopping and meowing and clawing and pouncing because the frontal lobe is growing, thus its behavior is only natural due to the development of its brain. Eventually it'll reach an age where the cat is docile and tamed.

If the kitten didn't do all those verbs, that's when we actually have a problem because the cat might be brain dead.

For these youngsters here, probably between 13 to 21, are at the age where they are defining themselves and being competitive in video games is part of their natural. I've been there, that's why I am saying this.

    Back then
When I was 16, it was all about competition. Anyone who isn't in for competition is a prat and the only befitting punishment is to get destroyed by either me or any other good player. I've joined and played local tournaments for games like Halo and won 1st place petty rewards like another copy of Halo (for what haha) or t-shirts. Thirsting for more, I have proceed to challenge people at my High School for $50 or $100 competition, of course, in LAN parties (made like $200, which is far more than local tournaments). Of course, cash upfront, or no game, and I wasn't planning on going empty handed by a bunch of nincompoops. After three wins in a row, no one wanted to play me, or rather, willingly ever again.

And the very next goal after that? It was going MLG. It's only natural. That's where all the big boys are at and not a bunch of nonce at my local area. I wanted a challenge, competition, honor with glory and fame. Unfortunately, I never did because my parents are Chinese so that dream was easily ruined, kind of like how I wanted to be the first man on the moon during kindergarten but Neil Armstrong was there first.

After continuing to burn my free time into gaming and competition, it is only a year or two ago that I've become more docile about competition. I guess that's what you called burned out.

    Beginning of MNC
But I know quite well about competition, that there are only two results that can occur: win or lose. A draw is not an option. And if you're not there to win, get out.

Provocation and arrogance are two most powerful degrading tools in competition, which is pretty much what Grand Prize used to fuel the community with. It's easy to tell because of their attitude and what they are posting in the community, and I remember K Rool made a comment about it, "Grand Prize is THE best team [in this game], too bad they don't have anyone to play against."

While I do agree there should be more teams, but I didn't agree a competitive environment needs the negativity that they were bringing, so I've always refused, especially after I've played and tested around the settings for balance.

And for the videos? They're for myself, or a record of my memory in video form so it won't be vagued and I won't be out there using my photographic memory to disprove people in court. Surprisingly enough, people enjoyed them so I was pulled into commentary and live commentary. It was more than fun and now has become a small hobby of mine, if I do ever find the right equipment and time to continue it.

Disregarding my personal interest, the competitive play for this game always seemed silly to me, but because I've been through what these people wanted before, I know that it is best I don't bother their affairs and passion and let them do their own thing, while I went to find my own thing to do, which is playing with people like my brother, Turntables, Edward Coug, K Rool, Chaos, Hiiitimes, fanboys and fangirls in public matches where it was more fun for social purposes.

And dying? I just don't like dying, is it so hard to understand?

    Now
Now? I'm like some sort of old wine that has gone bad, or rather, mislabeled. People are taking credit for this and that and are bragging about the impressive skills they have, and bring up matches with photographic memory about every fabric detail of the match like it was just yesterday. Teamstacking and playing for personal amusement is frowned upon and only competition is acceptable.

Like everyone else, I can sit here and cry and rant, or, I can be matured about it and look at my own past, and see myself in these people who are looking to pull in people for competition, for better or worse, because they like it and they want it.

It's because of that reason I've never really made a direct comment people who wants to play competitively because I've been there and I've done that. And I certainly wouldn't want someone to nag me about how "it is just a video game" lectures.

I've bought people 1600 MS and steam games for people that I'll never meet or know very little about before. I've believe in creating a good environment and giving back to the community is the right way to make it better.

"Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me."

    Amen.

PS: That's just me Turntables, just a chill asian and not looking to spoil the fun of the kids who wants to play something that they would consider fun. Doesn't mean you should apologize because they have been rude, but a vicious cycle gets us nowhere. That's all bro.

Closed? It's not, I just don't have a computer to record my PC game content.

    I don't have an xbox.

I've figured its better to say now rather than never; I don't want to be a freakazoid in the mind of these people forever.

PS: for any future reference about me, just point them here lol I don't want to keep coming back to answer unanswered questions or respond to hatred. I got a job to do and a girl to keep.

    Amen.
