ShaveIce Turret Assists

Every turret in the game has the capability of generating money for the player, EXCEPT for ShaveIce Turrets. Why not let the ShaveIce Turrets generate money like to Support's Heal Gun or like kill assists? That way, you have the possibilty of getting a return on your investment.

Thoughts?

I guess you get a bit for your investment - slower bots & pros which are easier to kill.
But I know what you mean - you can't just leave it & get kills off it. I like it as it is
though.
Edit: An afterthought: How about getting an assist for a 'slowed pro' killed by a team
member?

I like this idea. I feel lke i waste my money when i build these turrets because if i build a rocket turret i get kills from it.

I already build them when I need them. I mean, would you let the same assassin pillage everything in your base like a viking time after time, without at least trying a shaveice?

I have to say, an earlier game of spunky today actually was won with a shaveice. I built it in the middle nub, and it slowed bots for me to kill as a tank, and stayed up as our only turret most the time. It was a snap against the 2 assaults and the assassin too.

A good point well made - it's fast becoming my fav turret to build & the only one I fear
when I go assassin.

Here's something I should know:

What effect does a level 3 ShaveIce with a level 3 Hack have?

Let's take steel peel as an example: 3.3 ice will slow the enemy down even when they
are on your side of the annihilator ring & bots practically come to a stand-still
(front left turret)

Ah so basically it increases the area effect then?

The area is larger and it slows down people even more :twisted:

I really don't see any reason why you should get any money from turrets, besides the fact that it makes some players buy them instead of juice. Buying turrets should be for the team, and not for personal gain.

So if I spend $1050 on a lv3 rocket which you can camp by, I don't deserve any money
from bots or kills? I think I'd be better off buying a couple of juices instead of securing
the base for the team.

It depends on what best helps the team ie our balls down: build turrents / their balls down: buy juice
And I don't think he was on about shaves (green above)
