servers showing players in server list, empty when joined

I don't know why this is happening to me today.
but i have tried several times to go into games that have 9/12
or 6/12 players and when i join, nothing but bots.

i have no friggen clue what is causing this.
none of my hardware or software has changed.
not having any net issues with any other games.
and this just started today.

There are a couple known servers that claim to have players in it but don't actually have any. The most common is probably the Shotty one.

So far only 2 have been reported with bad player numbers viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9707

This is the cause.

And that server pisses me off so much.
