Hello, I just downloaded MNC with the HldsUpdateTool and I can't seem to get the server started. I keep getting the error below anytime I try one of the out of the box batch files and any of the ones people have posted. Anyone have suggestions on what to try. I have also installed DirectX as well. I am running on a Virtual Machine with Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise. Let me know if there is any further information you need. The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is in correct. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.e xe tool for more detail. Got the issue working. The issue ended up being we needed C++ distribution files installed on the server.
