It would be really nice if dedicated servers could set a "Message of the Day" that tells players joining the server what the rules are and such. Perhaps it could be transmitted with the server query response (or as a "query motd" request just for that server), so you could see it while the game is loading. Also, it would be nice if the scoreboard told you what server you were on, like in TF2, so if you want to invite friends but forget which server you're on you can simply check the scoreboard.
