At the end of each game, maybe we could get downloadable server log? Or just read it in game? This could help with pinpointing commanderbombers, trolls, looking up profane chat for reporting players, etc. The server log should log every players action, so yes, it would be a large file, but useful too.
Like, say, the Chrono-Cam replay system? Or just a chat log? I don't know how you can tell if someone is actually trolling through an automated method. Somebody would have to look through the replay and see exactly what happened. There is not really any difference in losing your commander and comm-bombing from the game's standpoint. Just wait for air transports! Maybe you just want the replays to be publicly available for viewing?
I voted for "no" because I totally sure Uber already have all logs and if they decide that something like that required they can easily implement some easy web interface for games logs. It's will be trusted source. But if they just give you log download it's won't be helpful at all because nobody can trust to data which can be easily modified by 3rd parties. It's can generate lot of drama on forums, but it's not fixing real problems. I actually strongly against giving any voting power players because it's can be easily abused.
all the chronocams would be saved anyways. I think you can extract a log from that without replaying the game if you need to.
We will be having a way to save your game session post game. It's a big feature on our list. This way you can review to your hearts content, make amusing machinima, or whatever. Which should be a lot more useful than a simple log.
