Server Browser/Friends Issues

Here are a few issues i have encountered with the server browser and Steam Friends
-Friends cannot join off friends list, the server asks for a password
-Server Slots
-Browser opens with a specific map selected(however it still displays all maps)
-Browser opens with lan selected
-Slight freeze when refreshing list, not a big deal atm but with more servers it could be.
