Not sure if the kickstarter is going to make the last stretch goals so... http://madhubber.hubpages.com/hub/plasma-donation Sell your blood/plasma and increase your pledge amount. Its safe, it saves lives, it supports this game, and by increasing your pledge you get more swag. Everybody wins!
Selling blood, plasma, organs and such is illegal in my country, probably for fear of abuses or people giving too much for their own health. I'd think about it otherwise, but as it is, I'll have to continue giving blood for free.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that selling plasma is illegal too here. IIRC, it's anything from your body (so it includes bone marrow, antibodies and such...).
In the U.S. selling blood and plasma is legal, but bone marrow and organs isn't. There are obviously limits to how much they can take at one time.
No one pays for blood here ether, so I assume it's also legal. also my alcoholic smoking brother has claimed my kidneys and other organs for when his ones eventually die. I am really trying to talk my self into/out of the 1k donation, as I really want a "custom unique commander" but I also really need to eat. I hear you can live on beer and bar nuts for weeks.
Even if I could sell my blood here in Aus. they won't take the stuff for fear I have mad cow disease.
If we had Galactic War, we'd have more blood available to sell. To fund Galactic War. To harvest more blood. For Galactic War. I see no flaws in this plan.
Seems far easier to get the word out. Join the steam group PA-Kickstart and invite your friends. All my friends on steam play video games so I sent it to every one of them. I feel like I am both doing them a service and getting them back for the countless clan invites they have sent me.
lol, how is it no one has mentioned anything about your comment? Are they just missing what you said? Anyway, please don't get involved in my work. Extra competitors is bad for business.
What I got I was born with! Plus we couldn't afford beef when we lived in the UK and the pensioners with nothing to lose snapped up all the bargains when the scare drove down prices. Not to mention there's no evidence CJD is blood borne, they constantly whine stocks are low, yet they exclude a sizeable portion of the population from donating.
If I know the blood organizations like I do (I've got family that works in that domain), it's that I know that they like to be careful, and for good reason. They've only just started to let up on people with tattoos, which may seem like a small problem, but keep in mind, we're talking about saving lives, here. More on topic, the idea of selling blood sounds somewhat...scary. I'll donate, thank you.
Most are careful: http://abcnews.go.com/US/colorado-denta ... E13RFFN-So Not all. This may not be people donating blood, but it involves the same things (needles/syringes).
