This issue has been around a while, but I haven't been able to find any threads about it. Basically, the problem is that once a game starts to get large (around 2000+ units), I start noticing significant delays in drag-selection (I drag a selection box - but units aren't selected until several seconds later). Sometimes, I don't even see a selection box at all. Double-click selection can likewise operate under a delay.

Needless to say, this is rather frustrating, given that you learn reflexes based on immediate unit selection, to say nothing of how situations often demand rapid response, making selection delays quite maddening. Hope this issue gets fixed soon, though I'd be interested to just learn what might be causing it.

This seems to be a problem that starts when notifications start coming in too fast. They've fixed it in PTE by pulling the notifications out into a separate scene to allow the main one to render without a delay.

Except now you get tons of pointless notifications. I don't really care that an Ant or Spinner was built, nor do I care that an anergy plant was built, nor do I care that I destroyed an enemy energy plant.

This results in a never ending stream of notifications, even 5 minutes into the match. Making notifications completely pointless since they're streaming by so fast I can't see any of them.

Uber desperately needs to throttle the firehose of notifications.
