Is it just me or are Scramblers useless/unfathomably UP? I mean, they can be taken down fairly quickly and their skill drain hardly ever helps. So, are they UP or am I just not using them to potential?
I played in a private match with some buddies and they spawned Scramblers during overtime and it was kinda overwhelming. I was playing Tank this match and everywhere I tried to run I had Scramblers in my face and having all my skills take forever to cooldown. Even though they are pretty weak I don't think they are useless. Used at the right time and they can give your teammates a nice edge in combat.
One scrambler is useless, several scramblers can be interesting. It's like bouncers, if you see one heading your way you wipe him out. If several come all at once then you suddenly have your hands full. Granted they aren't like gap-shots where a line of them is a fine way to generate income, but they have their moments.
I can see the argument, as I usually just off them before they get near me. However, if you can spawn a mess of them, get the Support to overheal a few, and an Assault to escort them along with some Blackjacks, then they will mess up the other team something fierce...
They are like most bots in the game. Alone they are not a threat, in numbers they are a pain in the ***.
