Same general animations?

    I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but...
    I personally loved the unit animations in the kickstarter trailer.

    I think the best one was the 'commander carrier landing' animation, followed by the 'asteroid engineer rocket landing' animation and finally the 'rocket stage separation' animation.

    I understand that the game has a long way to go, and that it will be refined over its development, but I was just wondering if you are going to go with generally the same animations, or if you are going to change them completely.

    Probably they will. I doubt that they'd scrap such well done animations.

    Chances are depending on how the model and animation formats for the game turn out they might have to re-do them, but unless the concept changes for the objects involved there wouldn't be any need to change them, just re-do them following the constraints set forward by the model and Anim Formats.

    Game is not even in Alpha stage, have some patience. These kind of questions usually have no answer until Beta
