Running speed endorsements for varied reasons

    Once I figured out that you just earn money when you pick up extra speed boosts, I decided to run a slow class with silver speed to see if it affected my money gain at all. I started with my gunner being RoF/Speed/Skill with an emphasis on raining mortars on bots and generally playing a more ranged game.

    I did end up getting a bit more money overall which helped in the area of turret defense, but whenever I picked up my first speed boost, I became a monorail of pain.

    My question on this topic would be, really worth it to run speed at all with the pick ups that drop from bots? In relation, has speed become sort of a "mess around" endrosement such as juice?

    Speed is not worth it at this point in the game, although I would not be too suprised if at somepoint we see supports running speed 3 to keep up with the team. NOT TO BE GOOD AT SHOTGUNNING.

    I suppose there would be better things to put in than speed. Health Recov might be better at silver on that gunner build. Only if I'm not leashed though.

    Personally I think the money gain isn't great enough to exclude other possible endorsement choices.

    If there were any major overhauls to the game I would like to see that would be Speed and Juice endorsements reworked. Here's what I think would work.

    Juice: Earn juice at a faster rate. A very common idea about the juice endorsement. I think it could also even out buying juice/juice chaining.

    Speed: Longer speed pickup duration. Lets face it, speed pickups drop all over the place and are extremely common. 3 pickups equals Gold Speed and disappear once you die, there really isn't any need for that endorsement.

    The only one I really feel I have to run speed on sometimes is Tank. Fatty Fatty McFatfat can't move around and I just eat bullets when I try to retreat otherwise.

    I've had some fun with Speed Support and Tank. While I must say my "Airstrike grapple" class wasn't practical at all, zooming around (or lurching, I guess) at top speed is pretty funny. It helps if your team is really horrible and you need to get the front line pushed up.

    I've been running Skill/RoF/Armor on my Tank and honestly feel as though I can get across most maps faster than running Speed as Silver or Gold.

    On a side note, with Gold Skill, it is pretty damn comical to CC a juiced Pro with Charge 3 followed by a Rail Gun Grapple then another Charge 3. :lol:

    The juice endorsement is a one time thing, you just spawn with i think it is about 1/3rd juice everytime you spawn, which i think is a waste of a endorsement

    As for speed the only time i really run is on the tank and the support, Only reason why I would use it is because the tank can have a wide range of endorsements just because running armour is optional. With the support i'm not to sure why I do run it but whatever.

    Depends on how far you throw them.

    For reference on how fast the recharge is, once upgraded to Lvl. 3, you can charge onto the center platform on G3 and hit the jump pad to the other side of the map and by the time you land, your Charge is almost ready to use again. So...3-4 seconds.

    I never run Speed seriously for any reason.

    For fun, I'll run it on several classes.

    Charge 3 with even bronze skill is insanely fast to recharge anyway :\

    you HAVE to try gold skill. you dont know what you are missing.

    product bombs literally fast enough to keep someone constantly blind at level 3.

    Supports who run armor/rof/speed can be quite deadly than the shotty, because they can actually keep up with an assault who isn't running speed.

    gold speed helps the support jump to certain areas
    ie: steel peele

    go on the jump pad and land on the glass.. look accross from it and jump to the other side
    drop firebase, hack, laugh
