Runaway memory usage?

Last night PA started off using 5 of 16 gigs of ram (4 dedicated to video) however it increased exponentially sot hat in one minute it used all but 0.1 gigs and crashed all other applications.

Is anyone else having this?

Maybe a to big system with planets that are to large, they take a lot of memory.

I had the same thing. My Vram was around 2.4 gb and the game ran very slowly until it crashed. When I rejoined the Vram usage was 600 mb for the same system. But afterwards it increased again.
