So I stumbled across this on my morning perusal of gaming news: http://hyperkin.com/index.php/retro-sys ... on-3.html/ Looks interesting if you're into retro gaming. Doesn't seem to mention a PAL version though, so I suspect I'd never be able to get it over here in Ireland. That said, I got a lot of laughs from watching the review videos by Class Games Room. He seems to have a pretty balanced opinion of it. I already have the Sega Genesis Collection on the PS3 but don't think it compares to playing using an old skool controller. Plus, this thing plays NES and SNES games too... How I would love to play Killer Instinct again! (slips off into a reminiscent daydream)
Looks like a nice gadget! Cant see it being hughly popular as you said, theres alot of re-releases plus the need to have all the physical cartridges (nes ones could be used to bludgeon an Ox) laying around. But still, a nice gadget!
