An opposite of the taunt would be a nice addition in my opinion. It would give the same amount of money of course. Even though I don't see many people taunting these days.
My thought behind it is that sometimes, you go 1v1 and it turns out to be a really good fight. It's one of those moments that instead of waiting till the end or on respawn and tell that player that was a good fight, the taunt alternative would convey the same message much faster.
But one of the negatives of getting 50 bucks after killing a guy is the possibility of feeling like a ****.
Sounds cool except then we'd run into the interesting problem...Such a thing could be used as an alternate form of taunting too and knowing how most people are on teh intrawebz...It'd just be an alternate taunt that only real bastards would use.
I like the idea, though I never take taunting personally due to the money making mechanic that comes with it.
I take it VERY personally, so adding a respect option for people like me would be an uncharacteristically smart thing for uber to do.
I like it. I'd use it 100% more than taunt. I always take things personally so it'd be nice to see from some people.
For some weird reason, I've seen that Assassins are most prone to go for revenge kills, either after a taunt or after landing a grapple kill on them.
No, to me, it's more like "Eff this, he wants to play like an ***, hope he likes getting raped like one *Switches to serious build and proceeds to rape*
^agreed 100%. it's kinda funny that certain classes attract certain types of people. My take is this... if you take it personally you eliminate some of the genius of them putting it in there in the first place. They knew about the tea baggers and shoot-the-dead-body-ers so instead made taunting reward you so everyone would do it so noone could take it personally. The best is when you have fought for a hard kill, you taunt out of habit and because it was so hard fought the taunt actually has meaning to you. Besides, there are a million times/places that honor is important, can't you let this one thing not be about your ego? I consider it Uber telling us all to stop taking ourselves so seriously.
If you really mean to give the man respect then I say you get $25 and so does he. If you really do want to say "Respect" then it sounds like a fair deal. By sharing the cash people will only do it if they mean it
