Why can you not change from this low res mode in the beta like you could before?

Not sure what you're talking about. You can change the resolution and graphics settings.

    I just confirmed it.

Your post would have been more helpful if you told the OP how you did it.

Sorry I thought the alpha had resolution settings like any other game. I don't mind, I'm assuming its a way of clawing @ performance.

    You can adjust two things:
    - Window Resolution: it's directly tied to the size of the window. So if you're full screen on a 1920x1080 monitor, your actual resolution is 1920x1080 (or minus any window frames if you have them on).
    - Effective Resolution: If you adjust resolution scaling, this changes your effective resolution. If you have scaling at 1.0 and are at 1920x1080, your effective resolution is 1920x1080. If you have scale at 2.0, your effective resolution is 3840x2160. 0.5 and you're at 960x540. Resolution scaling is the primary way to find out if you are resolution/fill limited. As I understand it.

Thanks, resolution scaling probably flicked it to 0.5.
