When I saw Chris, I was like "Dude, f*ck off. You've been on every single RE series." Please, no more Chris Redfield. He's old and he has zero personality. I like Leon more and I wanted Ada to main RE 6 but I guess we'll have 3 playable characters. (Leon, Chris and that infected guy)
I won't pay extra to unlock the rest of the content on the disc, and then buy the slightly updated version 3-6 months later! (a la MvC3, UMvC3, DR2, DR2:OtR, RE5, etc.) As much as I loved some of their games, I won't play Capcom games anymore until they stop with that crap.
DR2 or DR2:OtR? Seriously, that game should have just been DLC as it was, not a whole new game (just like any of their fighting games like MvC3\UMvC3 or SF4\SSF4)...oh, and while not official, these guys have a pretty decent track record... http://www.siliconera.com/2011/12/0...rnia-and-the-protagonist-is-an-auto-mechanic/
Really, god i want to look like him when I'm his age. But OtR was a full story. And better Co-Op.. DR3 has been announced. And a plot line from DR1's been hinted.
The story was full; but really the map, the psychos, most survivors, almost all of the weapons, it was more or less the same. The free roam mode with no timer was nice since I always hated the timer but how hard was that to code? Really you bought a new game for multiplayer that should have been there in the first place. They could have put out 1600 point ($15.00) DLC and called it a day, but they chose not to as it goes against what is apparently Capcom's new business model. I chose to stop buying after the MvC3 on disc DLC debacle - which sucks, because that game is FUN AS HELL I guess on some level I can understand it, because the question becomes how can a publisher who makes good games (Capcom\Rockstar\Bioware) make more money for their games than people who make junk that is basicallly shovelware yet has the same sticker price? I guess making lots of DLC makes up for that, but I have problems with it when it is already on disc, and given game development cycles the "ultimate version" is already being completed while the previous version is just hitting store shelves...it is the new model though, I guess I should get used to it :?
Renting/Gamefly is your friend.... I hardly buy any games anymore unless i know ill play them a lot [Dead Island, BF3, Etc, Etc.] Or there on sale. [Dead Space 2, Driver: San Francisco, Shadowrun.]
That is being put down too. THQ and some other companies (mostly THQ though) are now doing an "online pass" system where you have to pay $10 for multiplayer if you are not the original buyer. It is designed to curtail rental and buying used, but it had the nasty side effect of making it so that me and my girlfriend could not play the same copy Homefront online. To THQ's credit on Homefront, I called to complain about that and they gave me a free code so that I could use my GF's copy of Homefront on her 360. It is rumored that Capcom considered implementing the same thing, but their thought was people who bought used would rebuy all the DLC so did not go that route. Back on topic, RE6 does look pretty cool.
^ ^ ^ BF3 did the same sh_t like that. Hell, it took 20 minutes before I could even play the damn game.
Let's hope that Chris Redfield dies at RE 6. My heart broke when Steve died at Veronica. That was sooooo unnecessary.
