Currently the 'celestial' tag on the orbital & deepspace radar allows the radar to see EVERYTHING in orbit, including units in orbit around other planets and such. The only value we can really give this tag is '1'. This means that it is not possible to set a range for the celestial radar. So: some things I think should change: -'celestial' should no longer include the orbital layer -'celestial' should have the option to have a range -assigning the value "-1" to any range should make it unlimited range. so a ground radar with -1 spherical range would be able to see any surface or air unit anywhere in the system, same with orbital, etc.
After some testing, I've found that you cannot make celestial radar "radar only" ie, give blips rather than show the units, as it will show the icons as well. Though I believe this is in part to do with how orbital vision works in general, because even normal radars show unit icons. It would be really useful if uber could change this.
