I've been able to replicate this bug several times today, this is what you do, you join a server or wait until a game ends and the team select screen comes up you wait until it auto balances teams then leave just before it goes into the actual game and then rejoin the same server as quick as possible and then when the class select screen comes up you should have no team mates, that is when you know you've done it right. You'll join the game with $600.
Not sure it has to be the same server as I've joined a completely random server and started off with $600 Hell, I thought it was some kind of server config to help out those that joined a game late
Yeah it can be any server, just did some testing. From what I can tell if you leave late enough, a couple frames before the actual loading screen starts the game thinks you're in that game and gives you $300 and then if you leave and join again it gives you another $300.
Ya know, that's something that would be kinda nice. Come into a game X amount of time into the match and get extra cash so you're not so horribly outclassed when you join the fray Ex: Join a 15 minute match that has 7:15 left you'd spawn with $5-600 or whatever
I was thinking that aswell, if x amount of time has passed or if your own teams moneyball had been down once you get $300 + another $300 so you can at least upgrade all 4 skills or one full skill.
It was to my understanding that leaving as soon as you join a game will give you 300 more if you join that same server again. I was asking if you can abuse it.
You would keep getting that 300 extra dollars. Except money doesn't save if you leave, ERGO you keep 600 dollars.
It was a legitimate question. And the fact that you can't repeatedly abuse it could help in determining the cause.
Well, if you leave straight before the server, and everybody loads, then the server doesn't have enough time to recognize you as not present, but then when it's done loading it gives everybody the money, but it sees that you were counted as present twice, and gives you two doses of 300 dollars. That is my theory on the cause.
