The game has no release date as of yet. Start expecting things next year in your Summer/Winter, depending on which hemisphere you live in.
Common fallacy, the Mayan's didn't "predict" anything...they simply ran out of room for more dates on their calendar.
It`s all a capitalist conspiracy to make you buy calendars every year!. But Maya calendar does not have an end. It`s made of perpetual cycles. The cycle that is ending is a 394 years cycle that will "zero" lots of positions of the calendar. But people gets nuts about this because they like doomsday myths. Just like the end of the last millennium and so forth. It`s their chance to say they "lived" until the end of everything or any other psychological interpretation you want to give it.
Incorrect again. The Mayan Calender depicts a cycle of creation and destruction. The calender itself does suggest two different dates, depending on some key inscriptions and how people read them. Either way, a destruction does not mean end of the world, and could be much more metaphorical. For instance, if you ask some of the Mayan community they would say that the current turmoil in Guatemala is leading up to something big that will result in a "creation" of something, after much destruction. Either way, you are both wrong!
This reminds me of the GPG Off Topic forum. Take a sentence that was meant as a little joke, discuss it in superserious mode for the next 20 pages. Feels like I came back home...
It won't help, we had 2 release date threads created in less than a day earlier this week, they were both at the top of the first page of threads. People just don't look. Its also the same reason we had 3 consecutive wreckage threads on the forums yesterday.
