Current Version: 3.8 (Electric shotgun added) The Official Article What does it actually do, m8? This mod aims to create a similar scenario to @burntcustard 's Boom Bot Wars mod, but dox. Giant dox can be built from the advanced vehicle factory. Everything is affected by dox in someway. Current features: Dox are the only units build-able from the bot factory Shellers shoot dox and cause a lot of AOE Giant dox have a rapid fire laser and 1000 HP. They are roughly the size of a commander and can handle a group of at least 50 dox without dying, thanks to it's minor AOE damage Normal dox are 33% faster, ultimately reducing boredom when the lag hits. A vanguard protects units like a shield, it functions like a normal vanguard, except with an explode-on-attack mechanism T1 orbital radar is fast and cheap, but the orbital factory is expensive Holkins shoot giant dox, and cost far less metal to build. They no longer cost 20k power to run Two nukes; snipe your enemy with a low cost missile or decimate their base with a high cost Doxstroyer missile. Land mines are useful now Experimental T3 dox to end stalemates And much more obviously Custom commander weapons Each custom commander created by backers will have and improved main weapon. This is not finished, the ones present in the current version are from Boom Bot Wars. The current commander weapons are created only by Burntcustard. This guy has given us what we want! Besides that, this mod is endlessly entertaining. Couldn't stop laughing with the artillery
My plan is to have most weapon ammo have the dox model as the projectile. The ammo for mobile units except the ones for shellers will be kept as lasers and stuff xD
That could actually be a bug with PA since I've had that happen to me before, but with a different commander. Can you reproduce it without any other mods enabled? Well it looks like that's a new commander, so i'm going to have to update the mod. Thanks
Update V1.1.1, 11/8/14 New features/changes: Pelter added; deals low damage but shoots twice as fast as normal (also shoots dox) Giant dox weapon fixed; it now looks like a laser Doxstroyer nuclear missile added; destroys ALL dox on the target planet Anti-nuke launcher added The Doxstroyer costs 19k metal to build and 11400 metal to build the launcher; more missiles will be included in future updates Giant dox damage increased to 15, ROF reduced to 9 Stomper weapon added to giant dox; they crush units when they get close Giant dox HP increased to 2800 Some minor fixes, and stuff Known issues/bugs: When the Doxstroyer detonates, it delays/messes up factory build queues Some newer custom commanders do not build correctly; this will be fixed soon squashed that bug reeeel gud
Do they keep their dox moving in a weird spiral that never moves locations? Do they keep the dox inside the base? I think I know what you mean. EDIT: AI seems really hard to perfect.
