An Uber style mod that has the goal of opening up new strategies in Planetary Annihilation without radically altering the gameplay, pacing, and general feel of the game. I intend for this mod to become the default mod used in community events and for it to be easy, even trivial to transition from vanilla to this mod with only minimal adaptation to balance changes required. This mod has partial awesome projectiles integration, including lasers, artillery trails (thanks again @zx0!), and the new commander weapon effect. Air trails were, by popular demand, not included but awesome projectiles will team color them anyway if you have them installed. CURRENT CHANGES: Skitter: Can shoot now. 80 damage every 3/5 of a second. Weapon has slightly more range than dox (75 vs 70 I believe) and is a beam (meaning insta-hit, can go through walls). Skitter cost increased by 5 and speed reduced by 7 (from 25 to 18) to compensate. Hornet: Is no longer the long ranged thing that it was, now having a range of only 140. Damage per second decreased as well as cost to more reasonable numbers, and HP buffed significantly. Combat Fab: Cost reduced by 10, build speed reduced from 60 to 20, HP increased from 50 to 200. Walls: Health reduced from 5000 to 3000. Grenadier: Range increased from 105 to 140, rate of fire reduced from .5 to .35, splash increased from 5 to 7.5, now has a minor inaccuracy property. Kestrels: Damage per shot increased from 20 to 24. Leveler: Cost reduced by 50, now does 100 splash damage in a radius of 7.5. Health reduced by 100 from 1000 to 900 and rate of fire reduced from 1 to .75 to compensate. All advanced factories: Cost reduced from 4800 to 4000. All advanced fabbers: Cost reduced from 2100 to 1800. Slammer: Now takes on the role of dox killer. Range reduced from 110 to 90, cost reduced by 50, rate of fire increased from 3 to 4, health increased from 400 to 750, torpedo damage reduced from 100 to 80. All basic fabbers: Health is now 100 (To counteract skitters being a wee bit too good at raiding; takes two more volleys from a dox to kill now. This applies to air fabbers as well, which are no longer sniped by a single fighter shot). Anchor: Anti-ground range reduced from 120 to 120; orbital damage per shot reduced from 65 to 50 but now does 25 splash DPS in a range of 5. Laser Defense Tower: Damage per shot increased from 75 to 100. Rotates 33% faster. Single Laser Defense Tower: Cost reduced from 225 to 200, health increased from 350 to 650, damage per shot decreased from 40 to 35, rate of fire increased from 2 to 3, range increased from 100 to 110. Rotates 33% faster. Energy Plant: Production increased from 600 to 675 because I like it that way. Umbrella: Now costs 950 instead of 1350 but rate of fire reduced from 2 to 1.75. Barracuda: Range increased from 150 to 160, rate of fire increased from .6 to .65. Orca: Damage per shot increased from 50 to 80. Stingray: Range increased from 225 to 400. Pelican: Cost increased from 100 to 140, health increased from 40 to 85. Holkins: Rate of fire increased to once every 10 seconds. Pelter: Rate of fire increased to once every four seconds rather than once every five, splash radius increased from 12 to 15. Gil-E: Anti-tac missile weapon rate of fire decreased from .25 to .15. Bluehawk: Cost decreased from 1200 to 1000. Advanced Combat Fab: Cost decreased by 1000, health increased by 300, metal used per second reduced from 120 to 80. Catapult: Health increased by 500, range increased from 240 to 300, rate of fire increased from once every four seconds to once every 3. Astreaus: Cost reduced by 100. Krakken: Health increased by 300. Vanguard: Cost reduced by 300. Ant: Damage per shot reduced from 84 to 65, rate of fire increased from .5 to .75. This was primarily to make them trade slightly more favorably with dox. Their total dps is now around 6.75 more than it was before. Jig: Can no longer be spammed around the planet, there must now be a large distance from one jig to another. Cost increased from 3000 to 5000, metal produced increased from 36 to 72, energy production increased from 9000 to 15000. Download from PAMM today!
1.2 has been released. Changes: Halved Commander build cost (repair is now more useful). Reduced skitter vision range to 180 from 200, added mine vision. Double Barrel Laser HP increased by 500. Fixed a bug where the Ant was called something weird. Balla was it? Bello? Anyway, fixed. @wpmarshall Destroyer damage per shot reduced from 80 to 60. Destroyer range increased from 200 to 220. Narwhall RoF reduced by 1. Triple barrel laser defense tower range increased by 5. Single laser defense tower yaw rate increased by 40.
Most of the update spam that's been happening lately was updating everything to include the PTE changes. BTW, BettahBalance should be compatible with most other mods out there such as Orbital Warfare Overhaul as we do not shadow the unitlist.json and have our priority set to 99, which I believe means that mods with a higher priority (default is 100) overwrite any files that both mods shadow.
