Reclaim Toggle (UI)

    As a suggestion, I would really like to see Engineers have an auto reclaim toggle to enhance macro game-play. Basically, a button when toggled on, Engineers would start reclaiming the closest reclaimable items near it. I don't know if there is some user interface mod out there for Sup-Com, but every-time I play that game, I wish I had that toggle button b/c I forget about the Engineers I put on patrol. Personally, I would rather have my Engineers continuously grab resources and potentially die b/c they get too close to enemy units, rather than continue to patrol in an area that they already reclaimed.

    Just an idea ... to help me at least. :rolleyes:

    So....patrol then?

    Or Attack-Move from SupCom?

    No, maybe I wasn't clear...sorry. I was suggesting that there is a button that you can toggle (on/off) which makes the engineer begin to reclaim items nearest to it.

    It is nifty that the engineers also happen to reclaim while patrolling but what happens, at least for me, is that I forget about them. When I remember them, I find that they are just going around on the patrol route I created for them, not reclaiming anything. They may have reclaimed all the items in the first 10 minutes but for the next 5-10 minutes they are just going around in a circle, not really doing anything.

    If there was a reclaiming button, they would be reclaiming the entire time.

    attack ground in supcom didn't make the engies circle endlessly, they'd reclaim on the path and stop at the end of it.

    I imagine something similar will be present in PA. why not simply have the engies have a SupCom attack ground behavior when given the patrol command while units if given that command would patrol? ...saves UI space. Also for the perfectionists. the patrol could unfold, same as attack type. So when you'd select units, it would unfold from "patrol" which would be the unit's default and when you'd select engies, it would unfold from "attack ground" which would be it's default. ...this way you'd have the best of both worlds.

    I'd like three buttons:

    Search, Search and Destroy & Search and Reclaim.

    So you can send your units on automated scouting, killing or eco boosting missions.
