Just thought I'd link to a kickstarter game which looks brilliant and only has a few days left.
It brings a twist to the classic city management game and is smashing through stretch goals, defiantly deserves a minute to look at :)

Jesus, the forums are a mess. What's wrong with vBulletin/phpBB?

I'm probably going to pitch a little towards Stonehearth.

Also TUG, but I'm a bit skeptical about that one. Hopefully my low expectations will leave me with a mild surprise when I play it.

Godus looks interesting, but I'd rather control the people than play god.

It looks fun enough, I just think it'll get beaten out by all the competition.

Dwarf Fortress/fortlikes for simulationy town management junk, and Minecraft/craftlikes for creative junk. Since it looks half and half, it might have a niche.

Designing armor and junk in Stonehearth looks legitimately fun though.

That's why I like Godus. It's not really an RTS/controlling the individual people. not that i don't like RTSs, I just like variety, and I enjoyed Black & White as a kid.
