I want to buy the new controller from razer but i use turtle beaches. For my x box pad i have rechargable packs so i dont use the plug an play cable but after hearing how wired pads have less latency i decided to use my old plug an play wire to test this an as soon as i plugged my mic jack into the pad it started making a hissing noise which i hear from my friends some times. Anyways does anyone know if this new pad will make the same noise when used with turtle beaches?
Sounds like an issue with either the controller or the cable. I had a cheapo cable that would cause me to broadcast static when plugged in, but I didn't have the same issue when using a Microsoft brand cable.
The cable i have is made by microsoft and was purchased from game, its not a dodgy wire or anything its a problem with turtle beaches, my friends mics make the same noise when they use the cable to charge their pads. I dont use the cable as i said but i tried it an got an instant interference.
