Rail Gun Crits Forgotten?

I tested rail gun crits and found that I get a burst of 3 critical shots every 4-6 clips with the gold endorsement. On top of that, the critical shots seemingly do no extra damage. Is this a mistake?

i dont know the answer but it's pretty worthless to use crit on such a slow firing weapon.

No it's not. slow shooting weapons have a higher % of getting a crit than fast shooting weapons.

when crits proc, they last for (lets say) 1 second. therefore you get 1 second of guaranteed crits. with a slow-firing weapon, you get 1 or 2 critical shots. there isnt necessarily a better chance on slow-fire weapons, it is different for each weapon.

when i tried it seemed highly effective with the jet gun.

Every time I've gotten bacon in blitz as a tank the rail gun does get about a 50% buff in damage against bots. I'd say the game just hates you.

It's probably for the best. The railgun is insane when it crits!

didnt the developers say the high fire rate weapons like gunner have a higher chance of criting. so that would mean the rail gun has a lower chance.

Bingo! This is why I use Gold Crit. now. Also when the Railgun crits. it does a decent amount of extra damage and I really noticed this against Jackbot XL's.

higher chance due to each bullet having a chance to proc crits, but thats it.

Sure it's awesome, but would you really take out an endorsement for Critical shots? Not worth it in my opinion.
