If you know anything about AiC or Mike Starr you would already know that...or anything about the grunge scene in general. Just saying. [Edit] wth!? I did it again. How does this post get to the top? weird.
----- This sucks! When I heard the news that former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr had passed away, it felt tragically familiar. While the rock stars of the early '90s certainly brought forth some truly revolutionary sounds and completely redefined the music industry for a few years, they also set an unnerving precedent for dying young. Rock stars have always had the specter of early death hanging over them, from the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly to Elvis Presley's early exit to John Lennon's tragic murder to Jimi Hendrix's heartbreaking passing.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u2Rs_Gc1B4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3djmDFMRQQ
Right? It feels like I just seen him, even though the shows were recorded awhile ago. What makes it even more erie I am listening to old AiC and the bass lines are kind of cryptic.
He was on celerbrity rehab just a while ago ... http://www.vh1.com/shows/celebrity_reha ... cast.jhtml its been on going
i read it and thats why i posted the link showing his bio on rehab which stated he had a long drawn out history of problems
then why say it again? On Topic *moment of silence If only I was older. I could have seen so many great bands.
