Quite annoying issue

At the end of a match when my team destroyed the money ball it came up with the
YOU WIN screen and A firebase somehow killed me, I was enraged!

Hmmm, maybe an opposing support threw out a firebase during the moneyball explosion cutscene.

Not too hard to believe since you can do that with the assault's bomb, the sniper's flak, support's airstrike... But yeah I'm not sure if it was an intended feature to be able to do that while everyone is frozen in place while the cutscene is taking effect.
