    I was the only one out of my friends who bought the alpha, and I can tell you, they are all really excited for the beta. As am I. Can't wait!

    Well, not everyone who watches the livestreams have the beta, and a quick 40 minute livestream showing off the new gameplay mechanics wouldn't take more than 40 minutes. But I can understand wanting to get the beta out and squashing bugs before dedicating time to other things, though.

    I imagine in all probability they will both be quite close to one another. Whether the live stream or Beta comes first is hard to speculate on. My hunch is the live stream will come afterwards.

    Why not livestream the beta release? Make it an event, etc.

    A lot more goes into a Live Stream than you give it credit for.
