Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew why most of the earth planets I make, have biomes that basically form straight lines wrapped around the planet? Not complaining or anything was just curious if that's intended, I can understand due to the temperatures and how the equator is closer to the sun, but I thought it would be a little less... emphasized.

Pic here to show what I mean about the striped biomes

That happens because the temperature is determined entirely by latitude. You can start to get some more interesting geography if you lower the temperature and increase the height range and water level. Lakes always have sand around them, so equatorial lakes can help distort those rings.
