I hate to complain and I as type this I realize I will more than likely just come off like I'm butthurt and raging, but I am actually curious. Is there something about the sniper that I'm not understanding? I was playing just a little while ago with the same group of people for a good long time. I had no problems with anyone and the games were going fine, but there was one sniper who just didn't seem to die. Now I'm thinking this is probably lag, but I don't know for sure. He had silver armor, but I had a much easier time killing tanks with gold armor than him. At one point he even had another sniper on his team that I believed had bronze armor and was much, much easier to take out. Is there some kind of big leap from bronze to silver as far as armor is concerned? Because at one point I was juiced as a gunner(1 accuracy, 2 firerate, 3 health regen) and I had my lvl 3 mortar out and managed to kill an assault in 1 hit, the other sniper in 1 hit and a lazer blazer in 1 hit, but this sniper managed to get hit about two or three times and walk it off. And this was with the mortars splitting into three. And later I was playing a juiced assault and shot a good amount of rifle ammo into him and he just took it. The final thing that really, really got me was that on Lazer Razor arena I went up behind him, juiced as a gunner and unloaded into his back at a relatively close distance and he didn't even turn to look at me and walked away. He was buffed and I hit him a few times and didn't even take his buff off, then he hit his juice and walked away. I continued to shoot him them too, but very little damage was done. I'm just curious about armor's effect on snipers. Was this simply lag related? Or is that how armor is supposed to work? Because he would generally go a match and die very little if at all. It was kind of amazing. He was a skilled player and I respect that, but he just seemed to take too much damage. Thank you & I'm sorry for being butthurt.
I can only see two explanations for this. 1: He was the host. 2: Armor Mod. The sniper is made of paper Armor or not , so there not much difference between lvl1 lvl 2 or lvl 3 armor endorsements, except to survive Assassin face grapples.
