Aren't they functionally exactly the same?

    Someone argued that:
-The current juice full health glitch is triggered by healing effects
-That tank's level one deploy grants extra max health while deployed (and thus, presumably increases current health by the appropriate percentage)
-The increase in health is a net gain of health that counts as a "healing effect"
-Using deploy while juiced will thus proc the glitch more often and is a borderline exploit

If it grants damage reduction as opposed to actual increase in health, his theory cannot be correct.

Note: I don't know or want to know if healing actually causes this seemingly random glitch to occur with any sort of consistency. I know for a fact that classes with no healing or regen skill (sniper/assassin) get full health all the time, so it can't SOLELY be related to healing if it is related at all.

No. Max Health increases the overall health that you have. Damage reduction decreases the damage that you take as it's applied to you.

They have somewhat similar results but are functionally different.

I still think it is related to the hurt gun from an opposing player or a status effect, such as the fire dot, these are when it seems to come up the most.

I would definitely agree. I haven't had a chance to play very much since the update, but it seems like every time I get someone juiced stuck in a trap they survive repeated headshots. I also had had a juice battle with a support, he was using his hurt/heal gun and my health never went down a bit. Although since it's been mentioned in the update I would assume that the devs already know this.

The plus side is, it seems that the health regen might only be caused by enemy attacks, I don't think there is anything you can do to make it happen to yourself, so the only thing that's going to happen by examining this issue more is that we might be able to prevent it from happening as much until it's fixed.
