Build Notes: AI: Fix for AIs that start on other planets by themselves not doing much. Improved how the AI determines it is alone on a planet. (should be much faster) AI: AI neural net update. AI: AI econ adjustment. Client: Fix some texture size restrictions (e.g. the nuke scorch decal) to save approximately 300MB to 400MB of GPU memory (and a corresponding amount of CPU memory too). Gameplay: Fix for start location generation getting into an infinite loop when there isn't enough pathable area on a planet. Gameplay: Fix for radar structures never being active if they were built while the army's energy was stalled too far. Gameplay: Fix for orbital units not being able to do certain area commands on gas giants. Gameplay: Fix for trees and structures still visible after planet destroyed. Localization: Lots of changes and additions to localization. There is. What was happening was it was possible to accidentally "ESC" past it while trying to close the video. Oops.
Is there a fix for the display name bug? i.e. it reverts to uber name whenever you quit to the main menu / finish a game / get kicked out of a lobby etc...?

This is actually huge change: 540MB RAM and 270MB VRAM less. PS: Earth planet I test it on: Seed: 31541 Radius 1500 Everything else is 50. All settings medium, SAO off.
I've had it set there for months! it still reverts back to mayhemster during games and i have to quit PA to get my display name back
the best way to see the display name bug is to see the log of display names for me on PA stats. http://pastats.com/player?player=39034 single click my name just below the menu bar and my history comes up, this is just from starting and restarting the game for the most part
lawl, I guess the display name history feature needs a scroll bar now. I'll check the PTE if it still happens, if yes I'll propose a fix. Can't be a big issue to fix. EDIT: The pte does not fix it.... I'll look into it.
