Uhm, that just points to a local file on your computer. Use the "Upload a File" button (between the "Post Reply" and "More Options..." button).
That's a rather old laptop there.... I think your main issue is the graphics card, as AMD / ATI stopped providing windows drivers for the HD 4XXX range some time last year (I'm surprised you've got a 2014 dated driver for that card actually?)... You can try looking for a newer driver from AMD but I'm fairly sure there isn't one. There is one option however- the open source ATI drivers for linux are actually more up to date and work with the 4000 range cards. If you've got enough free HDD space you could always try running PA under a copy of Ubuntu or Linux Mint and see how you get on* *note there are a number of niggles with the linux version of PA compared to Windows that require a few tweaks but nothing insurmountable as far as I'm aware.
True, but PA is still under active development and they are not targeting legacy AMD cards unfortunately. It may still fixable of course. So, I am wondering if this is related to the subsampling. Am I correct that you have set the graphics settings to the absolute lowest? Could you try to set the sampling back to 100% (or native, I forget what it's called) and see if it still occurs? This is just a test by the way. I assume it will lag like crazy for you, but I just want to see if it renders the planets correctly then. By the way, how did you manage to get newer drivers for your card then are even available on the AMD site?
truthfully it only lags when rendering planets P.S im re downloading the game seeing if that will fix it
i put every thing to 100% same thing....what do you mean newer drivers? do i have to go and buy them and put them in my laptop?
Ah, no. I just found it odd that the drivers for your graphics card are actually newer than what AMD (the manufacturer) itself is providing. So I was curious if you had done something special with installing those. You should never have to buy drivers. One last thing you can try (and it probably won't help, since you already tried redownloading), is to verify the game files. See the instructions on Steam Support on how to do that. Another option is to use the UberLauncher instead of Steam. Technically, they should be the same, but very rarely there are differences. Both of these suggestions are unlikely to work of course, but I don't know what else you could try. It just looks like a driver bug and and as cdrkf mentioned, your card is no longer supported by the manufacturer, so it won't receive any more bugfixes.
