    Balance:

    Commander
    - Build Arm Energy Demand decreased to 1750 from 2000

    Bugfix/Polish:

    - Fix for known Galactic War issue: lost connection to server
    - Updated AI neural net data
    - AI pathing improvements
    - General unit pathing improvements
    - Fix for chronocam vision after game has ended
    - Fix for save game filenames
    - Fix dynamic alliance
    - Updated AI land neural net data
    - Updated AI air neural net data
    - Fix to how AI expands to other planets
    - Fix for units not being able to assist factories building submarines
    - Fix for AI build items that do not require either energy or metal
    - Fix for AI economy calculation with teleporters
    - Local Galactic War save/load (first pass)

    Start a new, local Galactic War and play
    Select ESC to bring up menu options
    Select Save Game (Beta) and Yes to save game
    Select Quit to surrender and exit to the desktop (Abandon War will not work to save game)
    When you return to Galactic War, your game will be listed under the Active Wars tab
    Select your game and Go To War
    An option to either Restart or Continue your saved game will be available

    Looks like PTE now simply means PublicTestEnvironment once again instead of Public´sTestingExtremexperimentalstuff...

    (for the last builds, the change from @jables -> @mkrater isn´t the one that matters concerning this issue)

    BTW: The fixes do sound quite well!

    I'm very concerned that the PA multiplayer community is dying. There seems to be a lot fewer games in the lobby these days. I seriously hope this isn't the case since PA is my fav RTS ever. Uber definitely aren't the best at promoting their game and @jables has been pretty quiet lately. It seems like Uber are slowly ramping down on development too. I'm thinking once saved games has been fully implemented the development process will stop.

    I think that they will continue to flesh out game-play, and certainly balance, even if they are cutting back on development.

    I wish Uber would promote their game more! Why does the promotion need to stop now that the game has been released? The premature release of the game was a terrible idea and the backlash unncessarily hurt the game but we have seen some huge improvements since then but because of the bad press it will never be the popular game it should have been.

    The only reason why is because there hasn't really been any important news for multiplayer, save game is great and all but it only affects single players. Any time there is an update of some kind to MP, whether it be balance or something else, there's a pretty large spike in the player count for a while.

    Hmm that kinda sounds like a doomsday situation to be honest. PA isn't doing bad at all ( I think). RTS just ain't that popular.

    Just look at how Grey Goo is doing. http://steamcharts.com/app/290790 Now that looks painful. Just think about it. It has a proper singleplayer campaign with tutorials ( not trying to be rude here Uber).

    They're still polishing the game up and I wouldn't be surprised if they'll keep trying to add new stuff ( expansions and all). I only hope for something like a rerelease sometime in the future ( with some cool new stuff). Time will tell.

    People have been concerned about PA dying even more than a year ago I think. ;)
    I agree with alpha: I hope Uber will think about how promoting the game more once some extra updates have hit it. I think it would be a waste not to try some PR stunts to get media attention again once the game is more polished.

    How does Steamcharts get these numbers?

    If those numbers are correct and some people will be using the Uber launcher too then maybe things aren't as dire as I thought.
